As we expand, we have found it imperative to create a new role here at Amherst Madison to help maintain and further develop our commitment to excellence in our day-to-day systems of operation and leadership development. We are very excited and proud to announce that we have officially hired a Vice President of Operations, William Anderson!
William Anderson grew up on the outskirts of New Plymouth ID, raised on a foundation of hard work and humility. With parents in the home building and medical industries, he was taught the importance of discipline and selfless work. His childhood summers were spent helping his father in the fresh sawdust of a new home being built or working as a ranch hand on one of the nearby ranches.
William’s professional career launched when he enlisted in the Air Force at age 19. There he became a skilled jet engine mechanic and aeronautical fabricator where he learned the art of aerospace propulsion and metal work. William served on several diverse teams across the globe. His travels have taken him to England, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and Qatar – just to name a few. After dedicating over a decade of his life to military service, he knew it was time for his career to progress in different avenues where he would be able to spend more time with his beautiful wife and two growing boys.
Pivoting back to his roots, he went to work for a national home builder where he further developed his knowledge of the real estate industry. William has specialized in launching new communities and a variety of home collections. As a leading Real Estate Agent, he sold over $50M in real estate within a three-year span. During this time, he also coordinated various efforts in construction, land development, warranties, and transaction services to assure client and staff needs were met. This effort led to the successful delivery of 250+ homes throughout the Treasure Valley.
Progressing into leadership and management at a young age, he ultimately found his passion for operations and helping others with their own personal and professional development. He has a keen eye for identifying and implementing strategies to improve organizational processes while focusing on team dynamics. This passion of his placed him in critical leadership roles where he successfully led some of the most elite teams in the military and home building industries. William cares deeply for the success of each member of his team, it provides him with a sense of fulfillment when he sees his team members making progress towards their goals in life and in business.
