ABOUT THE HOMES FOR SALE IN SOUTH VALLEY, BOISE

Southwest Boise has a few sparsely populated neighborhoods that were built between the 1960s and 1980s. Though growth was stunted to prevent urban sprawl in the 1980s, this has since been lifted, and there is now more widespread growth of neighborhoods and homes.

If you are interested in living around South Boise and/or Meridian, you should look into homes in the South Valley area. These areas differ from one another somewhat, but they all have their merits.

Southeast Boise was put together in the past 30 years and is full of suburban-style homes. It has somewhat of a fancy and affluent atmosphere while remaining down to earth. There is a wide mixture of homes from mansions to starter homes; the first major planned communities here were Columbia Village and Oregon Trail Heights, and these homes are within walking distance of the middle and elementary schools in the area. Southeast Boise is also conveniently located at the intersections of Idaho 21, Federal Way, and Interstate 84 so that people can easily and quickly travel to other areas of Boise.

All of South Valley has something to offer and is a great place to call home.
