Originally known as the Lower Snake River Valley, this region was renamed as The Treasure Valley in 1959 by the local Chambers of Commerce President, Pete Olesen. It is considered the “treasure chest” of resources and opportunity, and hosts more than 40% of Idaho’s population. Each city provides an abundance of activities to enjoy and a peaceful atmosphere to explore.
